Oven Lovin'

Okay, before you guys see the pictures of my cupcakes and judge the living hell out of me...I can cook. I swear to the almighty that I can! But when it comes to baking...I'm no Martha Stewart. I'm Asian, we don't bake cupcakes back in my home country okay? Boyfriend told me that that was not a good excuse because I was born and raised in America, but I like to think it is a legitimate excuse! I don't even know why he is bringing me down! He and his roommates ate them all anyways! Don't judge my baking skills by their looks. They taste good. Just close your eyes and eat it.

Here is my attempt to The Family Kitchen's Lemonade Cupcakes with Fresh Raspberry Frosting with the assistance of my best friend.

How can I explain the makeshift of my cupcake holder? Hmm, yeah I'm just too cheap and broke to buy one. So I made one. Cupcakes don't need to be round, this is the 21st century people. 

The fresh raspberry frosting was delicious though. The only thing was that it was so sweet, that I am pretty sure you can develop diabetes with just one lick of a spoon. YUM

Okay here it is...

EMBARRASSING. My boyfriend's roommate described it as, "The Easter Bunny Throw Up". Fine, I'll take it. But they still loved it.

 Word of a measuring cup/spoon. And as for me, I might just stick to cooking REAL food.
